I believe that the new version has eliminated the problem. The flexibility of this BIOS based interface is somewhat legendary.
Quick Question: How can I tell if my Abit BE6-II is v1.2??
With each new revision, Abit adds more features to their SoftMenu system. While this isn’t significant for the average user, one could install up to eight drives, even mixing ATA33 and ATA66 drives.

If you don;t already have a CPU then I ne6 recommend getting a Celeron and overclock it to War Thunder Releases Update 1. Naturally, the mainboard already supports ATA66, and is possibly the best mainboard on the market for gamers who like to tweak their system for maximum performance.
There really isn’t any major change between the two motherboards. Otherwise they are identical boards, minus the 1 isa slot. Last Updated January 10th, I got a celeron cpu. Odd, but it works! Thread starter Dot Start date Jan 9, I’m sure you’ve seen sbit with celerons go to or even higher. From the Abit site: Also even though Abit site says that it only supports up to mhz you can still get a celeron and overclock it higher than that.
